We are making good progress on the campground construction. However, the flooding a few weeks ago set us back a little bit. We have moved our opening to June 1st and are on track to be open at that time. We have two excavation crews putting in water and sewer and they anticipate having that complete by the second week of May. Cullen Electric is handling the electric with plans to be complete about the same time. We are pouring footers for the bathhouse this week and hoping it will be complete in time as well. We will still be able to open even if the bathhouse still needs a little more time. So, yes, things are going well and the weather forecast looks great with only one day of rain for the next 10 days! We are looking forward to seeing you at the campground this summer. Many great campsites are still available for seasonal, monthly, weekly or nightly camping.
