River Days Campground Rules & Regulations

The rules and regulations set forth by River Days Campground in addition to the Ohio Revised Code are to be followed by anyone on the property at all times. River Days Campground reserves the right to amend/change these rules at any time. These rules and any changes that take place will be posted in an orderly fashion on our website found at www.RiverDaysCampground.com. Failure of persons/groups to abide by any rule set forth here may result in the immediate expulsion from the property with no future return and no refund given.

Rules and Regulations

1. Days of Operations – River Days Campground will be conducted as a seasonal campground and will be open from approximately May 1st of the year to November 1st of the same respective year with minor changes possible dependent on the days of the week.

2. Quiet Time – Quiet time commences at 10:00 PM and ends at 9:00 AM. Loud music, barking dogs, and any other activity which produces loud noises must be curtailed during this time period. Be courteous to your fellow campers.

3. Firearms & Fireworks – No firearms or fireworks on campground property. Fireworks may be permitted with advance approval from campground management and subject to management discretion regarding location of activity.

4. Pets – All pets/service animals of any type are to be registered through campground check-in portal. All pets are to be kept on a leash and under control at all times unless in the designated dog park area. If a pet is outside the owner must be outside and present with thier pet at all times. Pet solid waste must be picked up and disposed of in a trash receptacle by the pet owner. If campground management determines a pet poses a danger to any persons/property or barks excessively the pet must be removed immediately. No fenced kennel enclosures are permitted in the campground unless approved by managament.

5. Lot Additions – Any additions or improvements to your campground lot must be approved by campground management. Additions and improvements include, but are not limited to sheds, awnings, docks and driveways. Only one camper or trailer per campsite lot is permitted.

6. Lot Cleanliness – All lots must be kept in neat and tidy conditions at all times. Personal items must be kept in a camper or vehichle when not in use. If it becomes necessary for campground management to clean your lot to campground standards a $50.00 fee will be charged. River Days Campground reserves the right to remove, discontinue or refuse service to any camper/RV deemed to be unsightly, unsafe or unkept at any time.

7. Lawn Care – Grass cutting will be performed by campground management. Grass cutting will be performed primarily on weekdays and it would be appreciated for any outdoor personal items to be picked up and placed on your concrete patio.

8. Fire Pits – Fire pits are provided. Fire size must be maintained in a manner that flames do not exceed greater than 30 inches above the ground. Campground management reserves the right to relocate your pit if needed. Fire barrels are prohibited. Do not throw bottles, cans, cigarettes, caps or tabs into fire pits. Pallets or skids are not permitted to be used for firewood. Nails pose a danger to trailers, campers and pets.

9. Firewood – Firewood must be neatly stacked at all times on concrete or gravel driveways areas only.

10. Exterior Lightning – Only the necessary amount of lightning should be used outside your trailer at any time. This is courtesy to fellow campers and conserves your electricity. Turn off your exterior lights when you retire for the evening.

11. Vehicles At Campsites – Vehicles and trailers are to be parked in a manner to keep the main roadway clear. Campground management reserves the right to limit the number of vehicles parked at a campsite. Overflow parking is available on the right side of the campground exit road and on the right side of the campground entrance road. Parking vehichles in the grass of campsite areas is strictly prohibited at all times. A fine of $10 per night may be assesed by campground staff at anytime for non-adherence.

12. Hazardous Materials & Trash – No activity requiring use of hazardous materials is permitted on campground property. Garbage and trash must be contained in a plastic or metal container with lids. Please refer to our campground map for community dumpster and recycling locations. River Days Campground STRONGLY encourages recycling!

13. Visitors – All campers with overnight visitors must register through the online visitor portal found at www.RiverDaysCampground.com. Campground management reserves the right to limit the number of visitors per campsite if needed. Visitors are prohibited from entering the campground between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

14. Speed Limits – The speed limit in ALL areas of the campground is 10 miles per hour. Vehicle travel is permitted solely on gravel roadways and by a licensed operator. Golf carts only are permitted on the golf cart path through the common area. No all-terrain quads or dirt bikes are permitted on campground premises. River Days Campground reserves the right to expel/remove any vehicle at any time for any reason. Operators assume all responsibility when operating a vehicle on campground property.

15. Parties – Loud parties, rowdiness, rude and immoral conduct, drunkenness, etcetera, will not be tolerated and, at campground management discretion, could result in immediate expulsion without a refund.

16. Children – Children are permitted in the campground only when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children must not be left in/at the campground unattended. You are responsible for the actions of children in the campground under your care.

17. Alcohol, Drugs & Cigarettes – All open alcoholic beverages must be in non-glass containers to travel from one campsite to another or anywhere else on campground property. Illegal drugs as defined by the State of Ohio Revised Code are strictly prohibited. Cigarette butts must be deposited in appropriate trash receptacles. Campground management reserves the right to impose fines for littering or openly disobeying this policy.

18. Personal Area – Campers are required to keep all personal belongings and property within/near their reasonable campsite area.

19. Swimming – Swimming is permitted at your own risk from campground shores. Please use the stairs provided by the Campground to access the Ohio riverbank. River Days Campground assumes no responsibility for actions/activities that take place in/or around the Ohio River. The Ohio River can pose dangers to swimmers and anglers alike, extreme caution should always be used when in or around the Ohio River. Swimming pools are not allowed on the property.

20. River Boat Docks – Docks are provided for registered campers only. River Days Campground Boat Docks are to be used for day docking only. All Boat/PWC operators are responsible for the safety of their watercraft and must abide by both Ohio and Kentucky revised code. No Overnight Docking will be permitted. Fishing is permitted off docks in areas where and when boats are not present. Swimming from any dock is at your own risk. NO DIVING EVER!

21. Fishing – Fishing is permitted off docks and from the Ohio River bank in areas where and when boats or swimmers are not present. All anglers are responsible for abiding by all state and local wildlife laws.

22. Mail – Campground management is not responsible for and will not distribute personal mail. No mail may be sent to any campers through USPS. Amazon, UPS, FedEx have been known to deliever packages, however River Days Campground is not responsible for any lost or missing items.

23. Insurance & Licenses – We require all campers and their visitors/guests to have and hold current up to date liability insurance for any and all property that is brought onto River Days Campground property. Proof of insurance may be asked to be shown/produced to campground staff at any time it is requested.

24. Responsibility – River Days Campground assumes no responsibility for any damage to property or persons caused by other customers, vendors, acts of God (this includes falling trees/branches) or unforeseen circumstances. These matters should be taken up directly with the other involved party.

25. Bathhouse – The campground Bathhouse is to be used for intended purposes. Loitering or unsolicited activities in the area are prohibited. Damage to any part or area of the bathhouse will be the responsibility of the camper/visitor/guest.

26. Campering Washing – Washing any campers or vehicles is prohibited unless otherwise approved by Campground staff. A fee may be assessed and would be determined by River Days Campground.

27. Sub-Leasing – Subletting or subleasing is not permitted for any camp sight at River Days Campground.

28. Tent Camping – All vehicles must park in the designated tent parking area. Area in front of the tent area sink is for loading/unloading only. Vehicles, including golf carts, are not allowed in the tent area. Fire pits are to stay where they were originally placed. Seven consecutive nights is the maximum stay allowable in the tent area. All tent customers must have a current permanent address. All regular rules apply to tent campers as well. 

River Days Campground LLC. reserves the right to press charges.

Payment and Charges

Nightly Camping

1. Nightly Camping Payments – All Nightly camping reservations are to be made directly through River Days Campground online reservation system or by calling River Days Campground and speaking to a staff member. Payment will be required in full at the time of booking for all Nightly campsites. Once booking is complete an electronic mail notification will be sent to the provided email address with details about your reservation, booking and general campground information. Any questions about a booking should be voiced to campground management promptly.

2. Nightly Electric Usage & Charges – Electric usage for reservations of 7 (seven) nights or less is included in your nightly price and considered free of charge. For reservations of 8 (eight) nights or more electric usage will be assessed at the end of your stay based on your Utility Pedestal electric meter reading. Campground staff regularly checks and monitors these meters for accuracy and campers are required to also indicate their own electric meter readings when checking-in and again upon checking-out through River Days Campground Check-In/Out Portal. The River Days Campground Check-In/Out Portal can be accessed by scanning the QR code located on top of your campsite utility pedestal with a smartphone and should only be used when checking-in and checking-out. Electric charges will be processed promptly after check-out and automatically billed to the form of payment we keep on file for your reservation followed by an email notifying you of your usage and charges. If you have any questions about this we ask that you reach out to campground staff when checking-out.

3. Cancellation/Refund Policy – Nightly Campers will receive a 90% refund of all monies paid if River Days Campground is properly notified of a request to cancel a reservation within 10 (ten) days of their check-in date. Proper notification is defined as an email to RiverDaysCampground@gmail.com, taking place within normal business hours. Example: A reservation with a check-in date of July 20th (worth $100 dollars USD) would receive a $90 dollar USD refund if an emailed notification is received by River Days Campground on or before July 10th.

4. Non-Payment of Invoice – Reservation invoices that remain unpaid past the denoted due date are subject to immediate cancellation of current and future reservations. Customers of unpaid reservation invoices are required to leave campground property on the last day of any paid for reservations they may have.

Seasonal Camping

1. Seasonal Camping Terms – Seasonal camping reservations require a deposit of $500.00 dollars to be placed in River Days Campground reservation system and have their selected spot put on hold for them. Full payment for Seasonal campsites is required by no later than March 1st of every year, anytime after this date your campsite is subject to forfeiture and your $500.00 will not be refunded if Campground staff are not properly notified of your situation/intention. Proper notification is defined as a detailed email to RiverDaysCampground@gmail.com.

2. Seasonal Camping Payments – Seasonal camping customers will have 2 options when paying for their campsites. Option A or Option B.

Option A – Once your $500.00 dollar deposit is received you will automatically be placed on our Seasonal Payment Plan. This is completely free of charge to customers and managed in-house. An invoice will be sent to Seasonal customers at the beginning of every month spreading the payment out as equally as Campground staff sees fit.

Option B – Once your $500.00 dollar deposit is received you will automatically be placed on our Seasonal Payment Plan. If you would like to pay for your campsite in a lump sum you will need to notify Campground staff and pay for your campsite in full by no later than March 1st of every year.

3. Seasonal Electric Usage – For all Seasonal campers a standard deposit of $300.00 dollars will be required as an Electric Deposit. Customers will see this as a line item on their invoice and will be assessed as part of the total payment for a Seasonal campsite. Seasons customers will receive an invoice or a credit along with documentation of electric usage for the difference based on your individual campsite electrical usage. Campground management will periodically record each site’s usage and notify/caution you of any abnormalities in usage. If you have any questions about this we ask that you reach out to campground staff when checking-out.

4. Cancellation Policy – Full payment for Seasonal campsites is required by no later than March 1st of every year. Any seasonal cancellation requested after March 1st of every year is subject to forfeiture and no subsequent payments will be refunded. Proper notification of a cancellation request before March 1st of that camping year is eligible for a full refund of subsequent payments for that camping year. Proper notification is defined as an email to RiverDaysCampground@gmail.com, taking place within normal business hours.

Agreement of Terms

1. By completing this form and continuing with a River Days Campground Reservation you are agreeing to the above mentioned terms and conditions.
